Description:
Our four Algarve holiday cottages perch on a sunny hilltop in the heart of the Algarve with panoramic views over the countryside and coast. They are open all year round so you can really make the most of the 3000 hours of sunshine the Algarve enjoys each year.

Set in the countryside above Loule in the central Algarve the white-washed cottages are bursting with character and modern home comforts. Based around an old Quinta dating back to the mid 1800s two of the cottages have been renovated and retain interesting original features, while the other two are newer properties built in a traditional Portuguese style. All the cottages enjoy sea views and are fully furnished and equipped to a very high standard.

There is lots to see and do in the local area and it's only a short drive to the beach and bright lights of the coast. There's also plenty of entertainment in and around the cottages with the pool, children's play area and SKY TV, DVD and CD players and traditional board games in every cottage. Each cottage has its own separate entrance, fully equipped kitchen, private south-facing sun terraces and barbecue areas so your privacy is ensured.

The Algarve holiday cottages can be let individually or together for larger parties and are suitable for groups of between 2 and 13 people. With their beautiful mature gardens, large pool and hot tub spa jacuzzi we believe these Algarve holiday cottages offer a great base for truly relaxing and indulgent holidays.

Sleeps:
The Orange Cottage is the largest of the Algarve holiday cottages and sleeps up to 4 adults and an infant.
The two newer cottages Carob Cottage and Lemon Cottage sleep a maximum of 3 people each
The historical Casa Do Forno Cottage sleeps 2 adults only.
We accept individual and group bookings.

Price:
Prices are per week and in pounds sterling.
One bedroom cottages: Casa do Forno, Lemon and Carob Cottages, prices are based on a minimum of two people sharing.

For any additional person(s) there is an extra £75.00 GBP per person, per week or per part week.
Prices from 1st November to 31st March include oil filled radiators in the price for the Casa do Forno and Orange Cottage and gas central heating in the Lemon and Carob Cottages. Pool heating is included in price from 1st October to 30th April.

Amenities
In the Algarve holiday cottages
Each cottage has its own unique character. There is Orange Cottage a large two bedroom cottage, Lemon and Carob Cottages which are newer one bedroom cottages, and Casa do Forno a rustic one bedroom cottage with many original features. All have been furnished to a high standard and have comfortable bedrooms, fully equipped kitchens and attractive bathrooms. In the lounge they all have Sky TV, DVD and CD players and traditional board and card games. Each cottage has its own private terrace with reclining chairs and a barbecue. Casa do Forno cottage also has its own small private garden.

Communal Areas:
The cottages are set in an acre of Algarvean countryside and enjoy panoramic sea and country views, just what you need for a relaxing holiday. The mature gardens are bursting with flowers, plants and fruit trees and when the fruit trees are in season, you can tuck into some freshly picked fruit!

There is a 10x5m heated pool and sun loungers and parasols are provided or you can soak and marvel at the view from the outdoor hot tub spa jacuzzi.

From May 2008 there will be a children’s play area with swings, slide, see-saw and a children’s play house all set amidst an orange grove. For those of you who are a little more energetic, there will also be a table tennis table.

The grounds of the Algarve holiday cottages are totally enclosed and accessed via electric gates.

Activities and Excursions Nearby
The central Algarve is famous for its endless golden beaches, sports especially golf, sailing and watersports, unspoilt countryside and relaxed lifestyle.

Beaches
Our Algarve holiday cottages are near some of the region's most famous beaches including Albufeira, Falesia, Quarteira, Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo beaches so you really are spoilt for choice!

Exploring the Countryside
The hills around Loule are full of pretty villages, historical remains and spectacular views. Well worth exploring by car, on foot, by bike or on horse back.

Bird watching
There are a wide variety of interesting birds in the local area from Azure Winged Magpies to Purple Galinule, Flamingoes to Eagles and we are offering a special bird watching holiday in April 2009

On the water
You can try your hand at any number of watersports from surfing to parasailing or if you prefer something a little calmer you could join a sightseeing, fishing or dolphin watching boat trip.

Golf
The central Algarve is home to many world class golf courses, most notably those at Vilamoura, Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo.

Location and Access

The cottages are near the town of Loule in the centre of the Algarve approximately 15 minutes drive from Faro airport. So you are very well placed for exploring the region. We do recommend that you hire a car.

Booking Details
To secure your booking we will require a 30% non-refundable deposit to be paid by cheque, bank transfer or credit card. For credit card payments there is a handling charge of £7.50 GBP for each transaction. Payment must be received within seven days. We will inform you at the time of booking confirmation whom to make cheques payable to should you opt to pay via cheque. Should the deposit payment not be received within seven days, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation and offer the accommodation to other interested parties. The deposit is non-refundable in the event of cancellation for any reason. The remainder of the balance will need to be paid and received, no later than six weeks prior to arrival. For bookings made within six weeks of arrival, payment in full is required along with the returnable damages deposit and payment must be via bank transfer or by credit card. Once we have received your balance payment in full along with your returnable damages deposit, a receipt will be sent to you along with detailed directions from Faro or Lisbon International Airport to the cottages. Your accommodation will not be fully registered until the 30% deposit of the total renting fee has been received. A refundable damages deposit of £150.00 is required for the one bedroom accommodation (Lemon, Carob and Casa do Forno) if two people are occupying the cottages and £200.00 if three people are occupying the one bedroom accommodation. For the two bedroom apartment/cottage (Orange) a refundable damages deposit of £300.00 is required.
