Algarve Microlight Flights
Our Algarve microlight flights offer you an experience like no other bringing together an exhilarating sense of adventure and truly breathtaking views of the landscape below. You'll see the region as you've never seen it before- the vivid blues of the sea and sky, the dramatic craggy coastline and golden sandy beaches, historic monuments and picturesque towns hugging cliff tops and mountain side and whitewashed villages nestling amongst citrus orchards.
From our base in Lagos you can choose between a number of microlight flights from a 10 minute microlight flight over the pretty seaside town of Lagos to a 60 minute flight to Sagres and Cape St Vincent the Algarve western most point where the land plunges into the sea.
Algarve Microlight Flights
We offer four standard microlight flights in the Algarve. Flights can also be tailored to your requirements. On each flight you will see how the microlight is prepared for the flight, the takeoff, an introduction to the effects of the aircraft controls and a gliding and landing demonstration.
On Algarve Microlight Flight A (duration 10 minutes) you can enjoy fantastic views of Lagos Marina, the old City walls, Lagos harbour and Praia Dona Ana before returning to Lagos aerodrome.
Our next Algarve Microlight Flight B lasts 20 minutes and as well as the views over Lagos (as above) your flight will also take in Ponta de Piedade lighthouse,the grottoes, Porto de Mos' dramatic cliffs, Rocha Negra, Luz, and Roman ruins.
The half hour Algarve Microlight Flight C takes in all the sights above but also gives you an intriguing bird's eye view of Burgau and a sunken ship.
Finally the Algarve Microlight Flight D lasts 1 hour giving you ample time to enjoy the views above and also the spectacular west coast of the Algarve from Boca do Rio Fortaleza and Salema over the beaches of Figuera, Zavial and Ingrina, the islands of Martinhal, the historic fort at Sagres and the lighthouse on Cape St Vincente to the beautiful Praia da Cordoama and also gives you time to learn more about microlight navigation

The Algarve Microlight Centre
The Algarve has one of the best climates in the world for microlight flying with clear skies, high pressure, mild winters and beautiful summers when the heat of the sun is tempered by cooling sea breezes. Our Civil Aviation Authority approved Algarve Microlight School was established in 1985 and offers trial flights, UK NPPL lessons and course packages with accommodation. We specialise in top quality tuition made fun by first class instructors and great coastal flying in the sun! We have a X-Air 3 Axis Microlight, and a Quantam Weight Shift Microlight available and flights start from just €40.
