A superb spacious 2-bedroom apartment within a beautiful private gated complex. This modern property is adjacent to the Millennium/Laguna and Victoria golf courses and only minutes away from the award-winning Falesia beach and the centre of Vilamoura.

A striking feature of this apartment is its large terrace area, offering spectacular views of Vilamoura and the surrounding pine forests. It is the perfect 'outdoor room' for al fresco dining, even for large groups. It includes a large shaded dining area and a south-facing private sunbathing area, leading directly out to the beautiful communal gardens and pool. Amenities
Our apartment for rent in Vilamoura is a exceptionally large and will comfortably accommodate 6 adults. The lounge has two sofas, one of which converts to two single beds or a double bed if required. There is also the flexibility of an extra fold-down bed, bringing the available accommodation up to 7.

The beautifully decorated lounge with its huge patio doors, leading out to the open terrace area, gives the apartment a feeling of space and airiness. The large kitchen offers all modern conveniences. These include a fridge freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, microwave, hob & oven. There is also a breakfast table and chairs.

The master bedroom is en-suite (bath/shower) and has French doors leading onto a small balcony. The terrace area includes a dining table, six chairs, four sun-loungers + umbrella, a sofa swing and gas barbecue. There is a lovely shared garden and pool. There is secure underground parking with lift service. The apartment is air-conditioned throughout and the system also provides heat, if necessary.

There are lots of other extras including iron, hairdryer, juicer, pool toys, cool box, games, books, films and more. SATELLITE TV includes SKY SPORTS/MOVIES. DVD/Video, Radio/CD player, Playstation/X-box plus games for 2008. Smoking is permitted, on terrace.

Activities and Excursions Nearby
Sports: Golf and shooting clubs are adjacent to the apartment. Golf clubs have bars/restaurants. Usual rules of etiquette apply. The shooting club caters for beginners if you want to spend an hour or two trying your hand at clay pigeon shooting. The club has a bar/restaurant and pool table and is just a few minutes walk away. Other local activities include diving, surfing, swimming, tennis, walking, sailing, cycling, fishing, horse riding, wind-surfing, water skiing, jet skis, mountain biking, mountaineering, paragliding, fishing trips, pleasure cruises, dolphin-watching, mini-golf, bowls, karting, casino, jogging circuits, quad biking, jeep safaris, walking groups, environmental park, scuba diving club (beginners welcome, 3-day courses available).

Places of interest include Roman ruins in Vilamoura, historical market towns, local festivals and fairs, daytrips to Lisbon, Fatima, Seville etc. Full details are available in the apartment ‘Guide book’. There is also a cinema in Vilamoura which regularly shows films in English. The large shopping centre near Albufeira ‘Algarve Shopping’ has a huge hypermarket, cinema, ten-pin bowling as well as lots of designer shops including ‘Zara’. There is also a Nike retail outlet nearby. The weekly Peruvian market in Quarteira is one of the largest in the Algarve and is a ‘must-see’.

Location and Access
The apartment is located in an exclusive area of Vilamoura just 5 minutes drive from the Marina. (Taxis cost around €5) There is a bus stop nearby which services the whole Vilamoura area and also local towns such as Albufeira, Quarteira and Faro.
Town centre: Vilamoura marina is one of the largest marinas in Europe. It is surrounded by lots of restaurants, cafes, bars, shops, designer boutiques and tourist kiosks where all activities can be booked.
Beach: Falesia beach is around 4 mins drive. There are also beaches at the Marina and further up the coast near Vale do Lobo.
Golf: The Algarve is home to some world class golf courses. Within a few minutes drive there are 6 courses, including 2 championship courses. The Vilamoura courses include The Old Course, Pinhal, Laguna, Millenium, Vila Sol and the latest addition The Victoria, designed by Arnold Palmer. These are all excellent courses with great facilities. The Old Course was one of the first courses built in the Algarve and is still the favourite in Vilamoura, every hole being lined with umbrella pines. Pinhal is also lined by pine trees for most of the course and on the back 9 you also get glimpses of the sea. Laguna as the name suggests has plenty of water holes so bring plenty of balls with you for this one. Millennium has a contrast of tight pine tree lined holes and some nice open holes that encourage you to open up your shoulders. Victoria is expensive but well worth it! You will enjoy playing any or all of these courses. Other courses such as The Royal and Ocean are situated in Vale do Lobo, Quinta North and South at Quinta do Lago (a few minutes drive away) and there are also Pinheiros Altos and the famous San Lorenzo courses. This really is a golfer's paradise!
Getting there: Vilamoura is 20 mins from Faro airport. Loule train station is less than 10 minutes drive. The bus company services the whole of the Algarve and beyond. There is a new motorway running the whole length of the Algarve and connecting with other motorways to Lisbon or Spain. Airport transfers and car rental can be arranged in advance. Local taxis are very reasonable.

Arrival is usually after 16h00 and departure before 11h00 but we try to be flexible, if at all possible. Bookings are normally Saturday to Saturday in high season. Wheelchair accessible. Pets not allowed. Smoking permitted on terrace. Contact the owners directly for further information.
