Canyoning in Madeira
Got a sense of adventure? If so come canyoning in Madeira!
What is Canyoning?
When you go canyoning you will find yourself abseiling (rappelling) through canyons, down waterfalls, walking over narrow, winding gorges, jumping down and across, swimming through clear natural pools and crossing waterfalls using ropes and mountaineering equipments.
Canyoning in Madeira
Madeira’s subtropical climate and a landscape carved out by volcanoes in centuries past make it a top destination for canyoning. The scenery is stunning and canyoning is an exhilarating way to discover normally inaccessible parts of the island.
We offer a variety of canyoning trips tailored to the needs of beginners or more experienced groups. Our trips last from five hours to several days and accommodation can be arranged. Our specialist guides are all experienced and qualified and will provide all the necessary equipment and instruction. Each trip starts with a detailed briefing.
Who can go canyoning?
Anyone can go canyoning as long as they’re adventurous, can swim, have some experience of abseiling and enjoy getting wet and dirty! You should bring your swim suit or trunks and sports shoes.
