Algarve Scuba Diving

Come scuba diving in the Algarve at our PADI registered dive centre in Carvoeiro. There is an abundance of marine life to be found off the imposing coast of the Western Algarve and good conditions all year round. Our guides have explored this coastline for many years and know all the most interesting diving spots. We offer trips for experienced and beginner divers. We run diving courses up to divemaster and speak English, German and Portuguese.

Algarve Scuba Diving for Experienced Divers

Certified divers can choose between boat dives, shore dives, night dives, freshwater dives, wreck dives and cave dives. Just let us know what experience you're looking for and we'll happily recommend a trip for you. If you're staying in Carvoeiro why not try a different dive each day?

Algarve Scuba Diving for Beginners

We offer the following scuba diving courses for beginners. These courses will give you a taste of scuba diving and introduce you to the skills, knowledge and equipment you need to become a diver

PADI Discover Scuba
A first introduction to scuba diving. Try a dive in a pool with the full diving equipment. This course is suitable for over 8s and includes video, briefing and pool lesson

PADI Discover Scuba Diving
The one and a half day course includes a video and theory lesson, training in the pool and 1 open water dive. It is suitable for 10 year olds and over.

Completing either of the next two Algarve scuba diving courses means that you can then use your new found diving skills to dive with a certified dive master anywhere in the world

PADI Scuba Diver
Pass this two day course and you gain a diploma allowing you to dive in open water with a divemaster to a maximum depth of 12 metres. The course includes theory and practical training and when you complete it you get an international card, diploma and logbook. To do this course you must be 10 years or older.

PADI Open Water Diver
This four day courses includes theory and pool training and 4 open water dives. Pass the course and you'll receive an international card, diploma, manual and logbook. Minimum age 10 years.

Algarve Scuba Diving Holidays

Our Algarve scuba diving centre is in Carvoeiro. This little seaside town in the western Algarve has retained lots of charm and character. It boasts a sandy beach nestling in a quiet bay and winding streets full of shops, restaurants and interesting houses. There is lots to do so if you're travelling with a non-diver while you're discovering underwater wonders they'll be happy doing the same on dry land. We have an apartment in Carvoeiro that is just five minutes walk from the dive centre and an ideal base for your Algarve scuba diving holidays. It sleeps two adults and extra beds are available for children. It has two sun terraces, a BBQ and use of a pool and garden. Please contact us for more information.
